Free Y Activities, Blood Drive on Saturday

The Wood River Community YMCA will offer a free day for children and adults on Saturday, Nov. 3.

The Y will be open to nonmembers and members alike from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on that day.

There will be a family fun challenge with various activities, trivia questions, food trucks and prizes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Splash pools will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the climbing wall will be open from 1 to 5:45 p.m.

Those who like can even donate blood from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Schedule an appointment by visiting and using the location name woodrivery.

Child care for children 8 weeks through 7 years of age will be available between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday. Parents must remain at the YMCA during that time.
