The crystal clear soprano Chenoweth delighted a full house at the Sun Valley Pavilion in 2016 when she performed at the Sun Valley Summer Symphony’s gala fundraiser. Expressive and animated, she was a little bit wicked—flirty, too—and a lot of fun as she kept her audience in stitches and tears.

She sang moving versions of “Moon River” and “Bring Him Home” from “Les Miserables” anda bouncy uplifting  “I Could Have Danced All Night.”

Her career spans film, television and stage, earning her a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 4-foot-11 bundle of fire power, who grew up in “Broken Arrow, Okla.,received a 2009 Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in “Pushing Daisies.” She won a 1999 Tony Award for “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” and she was nominated for her role of Glinda the Good Witch in “Wicked” in 2004.

She also has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and for a People’s Choice award for her role on “Glee.”

Her memoir, “A Little Bit Wicked,” debuted on the New York Times Hardcover Non-Fiction Best Seller list in 2009.

And she is set to star as Madeline in the upcoming musical comedy “Death Becomes Her,” an adaptation of the 1992 film directed by Robert Zemeckis. She also has been in such films as “RV” and “The Pink Panther.”

She has performed to sold-out audiences across the world, including performances at Carnegie Hall and Royal Albert Hall. And she’s appeared in a multitude of TV roles, including appearances on “The West Wing” and “The Muppets.”

Her album “The Art of Elegance” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Current Jazz and Traditional Jazz charts and No. 1 on Amazon’s Vocal Pop chart. She is currently working on an album slated for release in 2019.
