Ski Free Under the Lights at Rotarun
Tuesday, February 5, 2019

Rotarun Ski Area has enjoyed a bumper crop of fresh snow this week, along with Sun Valley Resort, which has picked up nearly two feet.

The difference is: You see all that fresh snow under the lights at Rotarun. And it’s free, as well.

Public skiing and riding is offered free of charge at Rotarun Ski Area every Wednesday and Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Rotarun is currently operated by the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation, which is also experimenting with offering skiing by donation on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The SVSEF has 102 youngsters participating in its afterschool programs at Rotarun through its LASAR and Rota-Rippers programs.

Look for the popular Arkoosh Cup on Feb. 16.

Rotarun Ski Area is three miles west of Hailey off Croy Creek Road on Rodeo Road.
