Schwarzenegger, Eastwood Create a Stir Seen Around the World
Thursday, January 2, 2020

The Terminator flexed his social media muscle this week as he posted a picture of himself skiing with Dirty Harry on the slopes of Sun Valley.

Arnold Schwarzenegger caused a media frenzy around the world when he shared a  photo of himself and Clint Eastwood at the top of Bald Mountain.

“Name a more iconic duo. I’ll wait,” he wrote, tagging the photo.

Schwarzenegger, 72, and Eastwood, 89, have long had homes in Sun Valley. And it’s safe to say their presence on Bald Mountain surely made a lot of skiers’ and boarders’ day.

Even a number of celebrities weighed in.

“Mount Rushmore level,” said actor Rob Lowe.

“Icons,” said comedian Jim Belushi.

Eastwood’s latest film “Richard Jewell,” about a security guard false accused of setting a bomb at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, was shown in Sun Valley this week as a thank you to patrons of the Sun Valley Film Festival, which will be held March 18-22.

Schwarzenegger has also been busy, last seen in this year’s “Terminator: Dark Fate,” a sci-fi action film designed as a sequel to 1984’s “The Terminator” and 1991’s “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.”
